Vedika Murarka is the co-founder of Educase, a women-led social enterprise bringing a one-of-a-kind solution to help students in marginalized communities of Nepal— a school bag that folds into a desk for children to have a comfortable study space at home and school. Vedika has always had a keen interest in entrepreneurship, problem-solving and impact therefore moved back to Nepal after finishing her Master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics to explore the idea of Educase, which originally started out as a course project with her co-founder. After moving back, she worked at the Ministry of Industry Commerce and Supplies as a Public Policy Researcher through Daayitwa and then joined her family business, where she’s also currently working on business development alongside her role at her social enterprise.
