Amigo is a passionate entrepreneur who believes in the power of social innovation and entrepreneurship to bring about a positive change in the society. He loves converting ideas into reality and scaling them to become viable businesses. He is currently the co-founder of Nepal Tea Collective, where he leads efforts to make Nepali Tea Collective a global household brand. Prior to this, he was the COO/Co-founder of Upaya, a logistics tech startup that has revolutionized the logistics industry of Nepal. Before getting into the startup journey, Amigo was an investment banker at JPMorgan Chase in New York. Amigo completed his undergraduate degree in Finance & Accounting from Colby-Sawyer College, and his Master’s degree in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from London School of Economics & Political Science. At his heart, he is an educator who loves sharing his insights and experiences from the real world inside the classroom to nurture the next generation of leaders. In his capacity as an educator, he is involved at King’s College Nepal where he designs innovative higher-ed programs and teaches entrepreneurship education to bachelor’s and master’s students.
