Prakat Khati serves as the managing partner in Artemis Law and Policy where he works both as an attorney and a public policy practitioner. He is currently an MPP candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, and completed his legal training from Kathmandu School of Law in 2016 specializing in business and international trade law. He served as the Daayitwa Public Service Fellow at the Ministry of Industry, a visiting fellow for the U.S. Department of State, and briefly worked at the International Criminal Tribunal in Bangladesh. Prakat has performed research roles within Harvard Evidence for Policy Design and, more recently, the World Health Organization mission in Nepal. He has published a number of policy research papers and a book on Exporting to the U.S. He holds active memberships within the Rotaract community, is a member of the Nepal-U.S. Alumni Network and volunteers as a board member in several non-profit organizations.
